Your Stress-Free 1099 Game Plan

Getting your 1099-NECs filed doesn’t have to be a hassle. Here’s how we make the process easy, predictable, and on track—so you can focus on running your business instead of chasing paperwork:

1.  Request Your Proposal

 

Click the button at the bottom of this page to get started. You’ll fill out our short intake form so we know how many 1099-NECs you expect to file.

 

2. We Prepare Your Propoal

Within three business days of receiving your request, we’ll prepare and send you an Ignition proposal with your engagement letter and secure payment method.

 

3. Download and Complete Our Spreadsheet

Use the link right here on this page to download our 1099-NEC Excel template. Fill it out completely with your contractor details (name, address, tax ID, and email).

4. Upload by January 12

We’ll give you a secure way to upload your completed spreadsheet.
If we receive it after January 12, we cannot guarantee timely filing and additional charges will apply - so the earlier you send it, the smoother the process will be for everyone.

After You Engage Us: What to Have Ready Before Sending Your Info in January

Before we can prepare and file your Forms 1099-NEC, it’s essential that you already have the following for each contractor or vendor who will receive a form:

​1.  A completed and signed IRS Form W-9 - You must keep this in your own records.

2. A valid email address for each recipient Our firm does not mail paper 1099s. All recipients will receive their forms electronically.

 

Without both of these items for every payee, we cannot proceed with your 1099 filings.

 

​Once you have your W-9s and email addresses ready, you’ll complete our Excel spreadsheet (download provided after you request service) and submit it to us through a secure upload link.

Key Dates & Deadlines

To ensure your 1099-NEC forms are filed accurately and on time, please note these important dates:

1. November 1 — Proposal Acceptance Deadline

   Review and sign our service proposal by this date to secure your spot in our 1099 preparation schedule.

2. December 1 — Billing Date

    The payment method you provided when signing your proposal (credit card or ACH) will be charged on this date.

 

3.  December 29 — Upload Link Sent

    

    You’ll receive an email from us with a secure ShareFile link to upload your completed spreadsheet.

4.  January 12 — Final Information Due

     Your completed excel spreadsheet must be received by this date.

     

​     If we receive your information after January 12, we cannot guarantee timely filing and higher fees will apply.

 The earlier we have your information, the smoother the process will be — for everyone.    

Getting Your Info to Us

Once you’ve signed your proposal and we’ve received your payment, you’ll be ready to send us your completed Excel spreadsheet.

  • We’ll provide the spreadsheet template — ready for you to download and fill out.

  • Fill in every field: We need a complete entry for each payee, including name, address, taxpayer ID number, and email address.

  • Upload securely: We’ll send you a link to a secure upload portal so your information is transmitted safely.

Pro Tip: Don’t wait until January 12. The earlier we receive your spreadsheet, the smoother the process — and the less stressful your January will be.
